Dr. George Tiller was killed on May 31, 2009 by Scott Roeder while Dr. Tiller was serving as an usher during a Sunday morning church service in Wichita. Regardless, the execution of Dr. George Tiller had nothing to do with Dr. George Tiller, and it had even less to do with religious doctrine. Dr. Tiller’s execution was about fanaticism and hatred perpetuated by one non-profit and leveraged by one political party. Sadly, hatred has filled the abortion debate for the last few decades, and Wichita is now the decisive operation for the religious and political right.
